I was driving around town the other day and I realized that the State DOT had decorated the boxes that housed the traffic light controls. The sad part was you only got to see a sliver of the art that was on the box.
I would be driving by and keeping my eyes on the road and not really being able to enjoy what the artist had created.
You had to stop and walk around the box to see the entire picture. How one panel flowed into the next creating a mural that would inspire you.
Is your vision and mission statement like the traffic control box. All your employees see is a sliver of your vision and not the total picture of where you are going. Do they hear the music of your song?
Are you so busy getting one job, then the next job and the next job that you never put the entire picture together for your employees, or your clients to see what you offer and where you are going?
If so contact me and lets revisit your vision and mission statement and where you want your company to go.
I give seminars on creating or revisiting what your companies vision is and how to use it to craft your mission statement and your business plan on where you want to go.
