The Sixth class will be about what is needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are many aspects that should be looked at and will affect how your retirement goes.


The first is the one everyone thinks about, which is physical activity. When you were kids, you didn’t think about taking time to play sports (versus sitting on the couch watching sports). This activity is important and needed for flexibility, cardiovascular health and avoidance of chronic diseases. What are your activites?



Diet discussion, getting rid of those bad habits we have all developed over the years. What lifestyle you need to make to get the most out of your file.


Stress management and its effect on your body, mind, immune system and emotional wellbeing. Its not that stress is bad but learning how to manage it to make you life better not worse.


Social connections and support that is need to make the most of your retirement. How to developing a robust network and not falling into feelings of isolation and loneliness.


The last is rest and sleep that is needed for peak physical and mental wellbeing. We will look at how to get the rest you need that is essential for cognitive function, mood regulation, and overall mental health.


You will develop the answers that apply to you because not everyone is the same and what will be significant to one person may not apply to you.


The goal is to make the last third of your life a celebration. Will you be celebrating life with others around you or will you hide from relationships and life?


Last, remember life is for living and enjoying, you can’t save it up for some other time because you don’t know what the future will bring.


If you think about these changes, you will find that you will really enjoy retirement. I am here to help coach you on living life with gusto and to help you to keep moving forward with your plans on enjoying life.
