A SWOT analysis stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Its suppose to help you find that sweet spot where you are can fill a need out in the market place with what you can offer.
How is my analysis going. I am struggling with it. I have to maintain my three classes I am currently teaching which fills my Monday through Thursday time slots for the most part.
Then there is the yard chores – leaves are falling and need raking, the plants need to be cut down, the lawn furniture covered for the winter, and the yard made ready for snow.
Then there is the family time that a person should set aside if you want to participate in family events. What happened last weekend was an Octoberfest dinner on Friday and a reveal party for a son and his wife on Saturday for what sex their first child will be.
I am president of a small foundation board that is gearing up to solicit and distribute funds to organizations in our town that have special needs that should be addressed. I am on a committee for a Toastmasters conference next spring.
I am moving forward with m course creation and have set time aside to start the process of interviewing people. So far I have interviewed one and have two that have said they will do it.
I am still soliciting more people to help me refine what the market place wants and how my experience can address that need. I will update you on Friday how it is going.
