Have you ever stopped to ask your self some very important questions? It seems in todays life that we are all very busy, too busy at times.
In the old days there was no TV to distract you, radio to fill the air with noise, or activities that seemed to demand our time. When was the last time you spent to just sit and read?
I used to drive 30,000 miles a year and I would often drive with the radio off which gave me lots of time to think about the job I was going to or about how to bid the project whose pre-bid I just attended.
It also gave me lots of time to think about what was my self-narrative and my life’s philosophy. What are the questions I would ponder?
The first was who am I? What defines me, is it my job, my church, my family, the town I live in or something else. Again, is it my job, my church, my family, the town I live in or something else.
Last, what am I passionate about? What would I want to do if money or time was not an issue? Is it helping people, making more money, maybe painting or music, teaching children.
If you can answer these questions you will have your purpose defined and path set when start the third phase of your life. If you haven’t answered these questions then take some time to think about them.
The third phase of life, the returning phase is your chance to seize that opportunity. Are you a symbol of hope and inspiration to those around you? Do you wonder what you can give to help those who follow you?
If you have struggled with these questions and issues then Patterson2Y2R should be a place you should visit. Share your stories and challenges.
I have an ear that would love to hear your stories. Let’s taste the real meaning of life. I am still working on my course with a goal of launching a starter course by June 30th, and I will keep you abreast as to how the process goes.
If you want to participate in this process and join my first class please send me an email to www.bobchuckpatterson@yahoo.com
