This is a membership Morsel from “Too Young to Retire”. Today, we are continuing to
talk about community and how the pandemic effects it.
You have probably heard all about the efforts to reimpose the mandates to wear masks by the cities of Los Angles and Philadelphia. Have you given it much thought if this type of mandate is reimposed?
How will you react, telling them to go F**k off or will you comply with the demands and wear the masks as demanded? Will it make a difference if you have been vaccinated as to whether you will comply?
Plus, to add to uncertainty the news that we now have variants from India and Africa infecting people. We are being told that they spread faster, and the vaccine may or may not work against these viruses.
Then there is the argument that you are a bad person if you refuse to get a vaccine, or you don’t comply with a with masks demands. Does this really make you a bad person or is someone just taking you on a guilt trip?
Speaking of Masks, if you travel by car, each state and restaurant that you visit may or may not require masks till you sit down. If it is one that provides a free breakfast, you will probably have a boxed breakfast handed to you. The other options they may use is to have you point to items behind plexiglass and a gloved clerk will pick it up and put in a bag for you. Very few places are back to the old days of a self-serve breakfast buffet just yet.
If you are traveling the rules will change everywhere you go and if you want to explore any of these issues, come and talk to the people in 2 Young 2 Retire. You will find a wealth of information at your fingertips.
